I guess, you will think about the idiom “Cinta Lama Bersemi Kembali (The old love go back)” when you first time read the title of this article. Hehehe, but sorry guys, I never will story about CLBK’s definition like that. CLBK is the acronym of “Curug Lawe Benowo Kalisidi (Lawe & Benowo waterfall of Kalisidi village)”. So, what is that? Be calm guys! That is why I wrote this note in order to you are not feel curious. Are you ready to read about CLBK? So, check it..

The Irigation Channel

CLBK is one of tourism object in Semarang Regency, especially in Kalisidi village, District of Ungaran Barat. The right location is about 30 minutes from Semarang State University or an hours from Semarang city hall. CLBK offer the attractive natural tourism object, ranging from the hills with many trees like clove trees etc, following the side of canyon with clear water of irigation channel, and the most interesting is the 30 metres height waterfalls. The entering ticket is cheap, only 4.000 IDR. For parking fee of motorcycle about 2.000 IDR and  5.000 IDR for car.

Romantic Bridge

From main entrance of CLBK, you will teased with the hills covered by trees. I think, you will teased to lay out the picnic mat and sit there. Maybe you will also teased to sleep there and enjoy the fresh breeze. For you guys who want to see the main offer of CLBK tourism object, must descend the hill and follow the irigation channel about 5 kilometres. That is fairly far, make tired and also frightening because the track just consist of narrow way (actually concrete irigation channel). Absolutely frightening for person with height-phobia. A long the track, flowing the calm fresh clear water. Caused by the clearness, sometimes we can see the colourfull stone in the base. In other side is fairly deep canyon, with heavy trees. The trees make me remember with the enclave Borneo which ever I seen on TV. In addition, our journey will escorted with wild world voice from the insects, birds and sometimes monkeys. That make felt the world wild sensation.

Lawe waterfall

In the middle of the track, we will find a fairly long wood bridge, named “Romantic Bridge” (so sweet). For the person with height-phobia like me, this bridge will make us dizzying. About half track to the waterfall, we will find the rest area. The rest area equipped of pray room, toilet, also food center. The unique thing in this place is “Sandals Tree”. Sandal tree is the tree to settle many broken sandals and shoes of the tourist during the journey. The rest area also become the cross of Lawe and Benowo waterfall track. 

Passing the rest area, the track area change. Now, we will climbing some steep hills also splitting some small river, just like in Guci tourism object (Tegal). After about 5 kilometres, the Lawe or Benowo waterfall will find. Very extraordinary scenery. Lawe waterfall consist of plural waterfall with height about 30 metres, and wide 30 metres, while Benowo waterfall consist of singular waterfall with height about 30 metres. There is food center nearby the waterfall which serve some instan foods. CLBK is will be very awesome for you guys who want to feel a warm and peacefull of wild world around Semarang city.
